Wayne Hartill: Vice President, Operations

Wayne Hartill is Vice President, Operations for 2D2C Inc. Named to this position in January 2006, Mr. Hartill is responsible for managing operations that support 2D2C’s product offerings worldwide. His mission is to manage a high quality manufacturing environment capable of large volume production, leveraging the latest manufacturing technologies and processes.

In this role, Mr. Hartill leads 2D2C's worldwide supply chain operations including procurement, manufacturing, logistics and customer fulfillment.

Prior to that, Mr. Hartill was Vice President of Operations for a Canadian Electronic Manufacturing Services company, where he was responsible for sales, development, manufacturing and marketing of design and manufacturing services. In this role Mr. Hartill managed millions of dollars of manufacturing which included working with products like the Blackberry for Research In Motion. He led a team that received the 2003 Strategic Supplier Award from EST Technologies, a GE Company, for being one of the top ten quality suppliers. This was the fist time a first year supplier had received this award.

Before that, Mr. Hartill was Director of Operations for the Canadian arm of a Chicago based Communication Systems Company, where he was responsible for engineering, logistics, and manufacturing of five different product lines. In this role Mr. Hartill managed custom system manufacturing that allowed for 80,000 combinations of finished product while maintaining a one week delivery schedule. During his tenure he led a team that oversaw demand growth of 200% over a five year period while maintaining a 0% growth in inventory as well as maintaining the stated one week delivery schedule.

Mr. Hartill has an extensive background in technology and economics. He holds a CPIM designation from the American Production and Inventory Control Society.
